I'm a Computer Science student that started applying for internships about a month ago and still haven't heard back from most of them. If I do end up going home for the summer, I really don't want to work at McFlips.
What can I over the summer to both make money and will look good on a CS resume?
You didn't get the news? If you don't get an internship you need 10000 unpaid open source contributions, to be considered for an internship. Or you need to make an actually good app that will impress employers. Unfortunately this excludes apps that make you money, because those kinds of apps don't impress employers. Unless you're a god who can make an app that impresses employers and makes money, but you're probably not.
