Am I going to regret this?

Yes.

most likely. the thing i want to know is , on the exchange the market dictates the price of a coin, if people want to buy, price tends to go up, if people want to sell, price tends to go down. for these ICO's who decides what the correct price is? much like any IPO for a company, the price is really volatile initially and might drop like a rock if it's not the price the market deems to be correct.
devs holding 35% of the coins... HMMMM

But that's like not buying a stock because the company owns most of the shares.

I was thinking about buying in BUT
Lets say I buy 5000 EON and the price rises to $1 giving it a $250 million valuation.
I'm risking $1300 worth of BTC to gain $5000 worth of EON.
Risk/Reward doesn't seem good

Same. I'm nervous the ICO might be overvalued, so I'm just gonna toss .1 BTC in.
