USD is risk on. When risk comes off, USD will.
Ultimately USD is a safe haven but a lot of risk would have to come off before that came into play.
Risk aversion levels recently came down because it looks like Le Pen won't win and the North Korea shit looks like will go nowhere. But risk aversion is very low, there is a lot of complacency and eventually risk aversion will rise. Keep in mind also that the Fed will probably not hike us much as the market has currentl priced in.
