Is crypto trading a zero-sum game? Is any wealth being created?

Zero-sum + Fiat flowing in - 0.25% exchange fee
Right now its a positive-sum game because a lot of fiat currency is still coming in
Yes, it is a zero-sum game. For you to make money, someone else must lose money.

I remember when i was 12 and thought this about stocks.

That depends on the frame of reference

Stocks fund companies, and give you a stake in a company. If you own 100% of the shares of Exxon you own Multiple oil rigs, ships to carry them and a hundred million barrels of oil. If I own 100% of bitbean what do I own?

Then you grew up and realized that businesses actually generate revenue.
Crypto does not.

Sure in the sense that money itself is a zero-sum game regulated by the Treasury in theory (not reality). The Treasury estimates how many dollars fall out of circulation and replenishes the level to control inflation, deflation, etc.
Trading is a zero sum game positioned on top of underlying fluctuations in value which are not necessarily a zero sum game, which allows the finance industry to pretend otherwise.

Cryptos are currencies, not stocks. What part of this is difficult for you people to understand?
If I start trading Forex and I buy a billion Japanese Yen, what the fuck do I own? A billion Japanese fucking Yen, suitable for buying anything I want in Japanese markets but ALSO suitable for buying at the appropriate exchange rate anything I want in any other markets which can be exchanged for Yen. This is no different. Bitcoin has its own markets, Bitbean and other altcoins have suitable exchange rates which allow them to be exchanged for Bitcoin and then Bitcoin for USD. Thus the only premiums which differentiate one coin from another, giving it value, are access to markets, ease of use, fast transaction times, smart contracts, scarcity, etc. A currency's value is determined by its utility and scarcity.
