Is this true /biz/? Because if so, conservatives are btfo.
Liberals don't even know about POSW

That's not even in the overton window anymore. The only people I hear talking about reducing government spending are talk radio conservatives and they are clearly targeting a rich but aged demographic.
Under the obama years there was a dedicated effort to reduce GDP, so you can't even argue that liberals are good for the economy. Liberals(these days) are good at acting like they taking from the rich and redistributing to the poor, but what their policies really do is cut competition and centralize power.
I don't think it was a mistake that in most counties for health insurance you have only a single provider. Also, that cities with a high cost of doing business now have to deal with a higher minimum wage, which makes it far easier for a corporation to compete. I think you're going to continue seeing this downtrend of small businesses and a rise of stronger corporations, and everyone is going to blame the republicans somehow for all of this because republicans are evil old rich people.
From what I can tell about conservatism listening to talk radio for years, they're really just nationalists. They want to sacrifice to create a reserved and controlled national government, and therefore any argument that is in favor of overspending is irresponsible to them.
It's not that one side is right or wrong, it's the policies and what they value. Under a conservative system, you necessarily have to cut welfare programs and increase the personal responsibility on the taxpayer. But, I don't see that happening unless the house of cards falls down, and when it does it's going to be blamed on something else besides spending too much money.
>just print as much money as you want it'd be fine
No OP whoever wrote this is an idiot who lives in an imaginary universe where inflation doesn't exist.

He's talking about the movement of money though, not the creation.
In a Fiat system government budget surpluses are bad for the economy. Anytime someone says the federal government should be run like a business you immediately know they're a stupid pile of shit. Businesses can't print their own money.
>But muh inflation!
Prices are not tied to the amount of money in circulation but rather to supply and demand. More money in the system that is actually getting to people means an increase in demand. Inflation occurs when a nation's economy is unable to meet that demand.
>regressive left wants to tax people more and make them even poorer

Except the assets from the 90 year old , assuming he has any which most don't , have to be liquidated
Except the current yippy generation can't afford homes (or kids) because the neocon / neolibs needed another bubble to exploit so they made education unaffordable
We're looking at 6 different economic bubbles including pensions and education , all because the system needs infinite growth on a finite planet
An ecogical catastrophe looming
And an energy crisis , the tinfoil hat preppers were right

Expecting everyone to go to college, regardless of whether or not they know what they want to do there was a terrible idea. College is expensive thanks to the unpaid loans of millions of psychology majors.
It's all just numbers on ledgers, man. It's a slight of hand. They told us that we all owe them, and we fell for it.
We don't owe them fat cats nothing, friends.

essentially.
the other conservative mistake is to assume that government should be run like a business. Businesses also don't sit on money. Their job is to pass it on.
>Because if so, conservatives are btfo.
conservatives are by definition btfo all the time. They believe the past is the way to do things. You can't go back, those conditions no longer exist.

Anyway, it's true sort of. It's like how when you drive in rush hour if everyone drove at a steady pace traffic would dissipate.
If you drive like a jackass it only slows down traffic for everyone behind you.
So what do you do?
Pretty easy choice mane.
