Monero is in a weird place desu

Pivx is a better version of it, its PoS, much much faster and actually anonymous (there's a bug in monero code that makes it traceable somehow)

Even Zcash with the coming interoperation with ethereum is going places

no. it uses the same trash that dash uses where master nodes are in control of mixing. monero uses actual crypto instead of just having a third party that you cant actually trust mix transactions
