ITT We discuss our shitty work ethic / how we can improve it.
19, born into a rich family
I don't flaunt my wealth,
waste money,
party constantly, (or even regularly)
but the one trait I share with the "rich kid" stereotype is a really poor work ethic.
Even though I would like to be able to work hard
there just isn't serious motivation to do it because I know I'll always have a big safety net
I do have an idea for fixing it though.
Studies show that a brain generally forms habits after 3 weeks of doing something
So I figure that forcing myself into a situation where I have to work hard for 1 - 2 months
will make discipline come much more naturally
At first I was going to join the army, because I've heard people generally come out much more disciplined,
but I'm too skinny to pass the strength requirement to get in. (Also they won't let you do it for just a month or two)
So instead what I'll do, is find a training camp somewhere in the world
where you pay them to discipline you like in the army.
I'm not certain one exists, but if there are facilities meant to cure gayness, then I figure anything's possible

Get a part time job. It will teach you responsibility and show you why you're studying

To exert more self-control in terms of work ethic, it may be necessary to relax in another arena
