Since I'm Danish, I have unlimited access to education. I can basically become whatever I want.

WHAT I want, though, is a job that I can perform anywhere in the world, that pays well, and which allows me to save a small fortune in the span of a decade or so.

I've thought of welding, but I'd like to consult with you guys first. What do you think I should become?

Basically, I want to travel and work, I'm pretty /out/ and /trv/, being on the road in Japan right now as I write this. I want to save up money so I can invest in real estate that I rent out, so I have some sort of passive income while I bum around the world with a backpack and a tent.

Get the most expensive/usefull degree there is that has losts of potential for advancement and repositioning

Dont be a welder, get into uni
>>
fellow dane here, get into IT.
lived and worked across the world for the past 10 years.

An example of such a degree could be..?

There's so many bollocks combinations that I can take. I don't want to kill myself over books for 4 years, I'm much more a hands-on guy. Also considered becoming a specialized electrician, since Denmark have very advanced programs.

Hej broder, hvilken uddannelse har du?
>>
>>1976505

>>
>>1976511
Godt for dig, mand!

>>
>>1976505
If you're hands-on electrician, etc. are pretty good. Look for a company that does plant engineering worldwide and you'll travel and earn quite a bit
>>
>>1976505
Depends on you what you want to do. There are few staples like engineering, med, law etc

I mean, you can be a welder if you want but monetarily speaking there are better options.
>>
>>1976523
Danish Electrician courses offers specialization in robotic maintenance and setup. I was figuring that would make me able to work on high-end plants all around the world.

>>1976524
So the whole welding thing is a meme? I always hear that people get paid 40k straight out of school with a job like that.
>>
>>1976540
It might be true but you can potentially get more
>>
Is there even a renowned Danish university?

Start getting a degree in anything on freight ships. Although the bulk of the staff is Pinoy, there will always be a managerial part to fill for honkys, especially Danish ones (Maersk etc).

Met a dude that lived in Africa that worked offshore drilling supply. 6 weeks off, 6 weeks on, with an income that was way beyond the locals. Beautiful hyper-modern house, trophy wife, vintage car. Looked good.

You will never make it

I run equipment. Can get an okay job in all developed worlds. Could learn to weld and use funds to learn other skills. Make a career of trade school amd do a trade for a year or two and go back. Learn 59 skills and never be at anyones mercy again
