My last 2 predictions, $MONA and $PIVX mooned, it's time for the next one.

$POSW already went up 100% since my last thread.
https://yobit.net/en/trade/POSW/BTC

>First coin based on an exchange
>ZERO market competition
>Twitter hype from major traders
>Masternodes to be added soon, announced on monday
>Every masternode coin has MOONED
>Very cheap, for 1 btc you can get a masternode
>Poswallet.com exchange is adding more and more pairs, 57 pairs at the moment
>First website to do staking with Proof of Stake coins FOR you
>Whales are accumulating

Twitter hype:

https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=%24posw

It’s likely that $POSW will go 10x or 100x if you hold for a while. It is NOT too late to get in.

Get some POSW here: https://poswallet.com/login.php?referral=poswhodl1
>>
>>1968368
You won't get a masternode for 1 btc, I've seen two numbers for a master node. Either 100k or 250k.

Any reason why you shouldn't get elite membership if you have a shitton of POSW?

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY IN COINMARKETCAP TOTAL SUPPLY SAYS 70 MILLION WHILE BITCOINTAK THREAD SAYS 250 MILLION

ALSO IS THE SUPPLY LIMITED OR IT HAS A %OF INTEREST IF SO WHAT
>>
>>1968821
it was changed to 250 million coinmarketcap hasn't updated it yet
>>
ALSO, HAVE THEY FIXED BTC DEPOSITS, OR ITS BETTER TO USE YOBIT? THERE WAS A GUY SAYING HIS BTC NEVER SHOWED UP IN POSWALLET.COM
>>
>>1968811
Double dubs confirm.

https://poswallet.com/login.php?referral=g0dspd7
>>
>>1968821
250 million is the maximum supply. The whole thing has been premined but the stuff that wasn't released to the public is automatically destroyed as new coins are minted to keep the supply fixed at 250 million.
Actual supply is like 41 million right now. The other 209 million coins aren't available to the market.

>>1968826
I didn't have any problems a few days ago.
>>
>>1968835
so why does it say 70 million here:

>>

>250 million is the maximum supply. The whole thing has been premined but the stuff that wasn't released to the public is automatically destroyed as new coins are minted to keep the supply fixed at 250 million.
>Actual supply is like 41 million right now. The other 209 million coins aren't available to the market.

I dont understand. whats the point of this?
>>
>>1968899
Usually the actual supply is based on the ICO

If the ICO does well then more of the coins are distributed because more people buy into the ICO. The rest is burned.

TaaS is doing the same thing but instead of leaving some for the market TaaS is destroying ALL coins because it's a closed investment ICO.
>>
>>1968892
I dunno, but according to >>1968825 they changed the max supply and coinmarketcap hasn't updated it yet.

>>1968899
ICO bullshit.
>>
>>1968904
Actually, they sold a fixed 40 million coins in the ICO.
The rest of the premine is for shit like the increased stake rate for subscribers on the website, I think.
>>
>>1968911
I think we are both right. 40 million sold, 20 million for stake rate and the rest burned.

how do we know every coin is at its right place and not spent in hookers by devs?

also HOW THE FCK do I deposit BTC in the poswallet.com wallet to buy some posw?

>>1968915
>>1968911
so this coin is NOT inflationary and once the 70 million is reached... then what? how does the staking continue?
>>
>>1968994
No, it is inflationary, and the cap is 250 million.
I don't know what happens when we reach 250 million. Maybe staking stops working? But then the blockchain stops working. Fuck.
Do PoS coins have transaction fees?

>how do we know every coin is at its right place and not spent in hookers by devs?
They said all premine addresses are marked as such. I haven't checked but I assume you can find them easily.

>also HOW THE FCK do I deposit BTC in the poswallet.com wallet to buy some posw?
Go to your dashboard, generate a BTC address, send the coins to that address, then go to your wallet and transfer the BTC from staking to exchange.
BTC can't be staked but still goes into the staking wallet by default.
>>
okay figured it out, just sent 0.5 BTC, those fuckers better not lose my BTC. Im going to watch an episode of a serie, after im back I hope it shows up.
>>
>>1969015
>>1969015
use a bitcoin transaction accelerator. You put your transaction ID and it speeds up the process; otherwise it takes a long time with poswallet
>>
>>1969009
the site is a bit convoluted, they need to tidy it up

coin has potential for a good pump, hoping for 1$+, hope people dont dump it all at $1+ so we can moon

still i have big doubts like what inflation rate. thats where the staking continues after 250 limit i presume. and yes of course pos needs fees, which i presume it also goes to stakers.
>>
>>1969017
i use bitcoin core with the recommended fee, so it should show up on poswallet, otherwise im never sending shit there again. i'll buy on yobit or something

The coin's value is tied to the exchange's popularity, so the better the exchange gets and the more it's advertised, the more the coin will be worth.
This could be a billion-dollar coin if the exchange becomes popular because it would be one of the handful of coins with an actual use.

i dont see any utility on all of this, other than easy online staking
>>
>>1969131
The exchange pays dividends to POSW holders in the form of more POSW.
The fact that it's an exchange that only takes 2.5% of your staking rewards instead of 100% is pretty significant, too.
>>
>>1969131
Holding the coin entitles you to dividends in the exchange's profits. You can see monthly earning reports here: https://poswallet.com/POSW/

Only made 2 btc profit last month, but that was with fuck all volume. With a lot more volume being traded on the exchange this month, those profit figures are going to rise a shitload.
>>
>>1969131
I believe you use POSW to trade between altcoins on the POSW exchange, in lieu of Bitcoin used on typical exchanges.
>>
>>1969131
You use the posw to exchange for other alts to trade and such.
>>
>>1968368
Also, can I store my POSW on my computer with a wallet? I'd prefer to do this rather than keeping them on an exchange.
>>
>>1969145
what would be the point of taking 100%? what are you talking about

they take 2.5%, it takes 0 if you use the actuall wallet for the coin you want to stake

you are paying 2.5% just because you are lazy to download the software wallet for every altcoin
>>
>>1969161
Other exchanges keep your staking rewards.

>you are paying 2.5% just because you are lazy to download the software wallet for every altcoin

>>
>>1969166
Similar to other exchanges.

Except instead of using btc as the proprietary token for exchange, PoSW will be the primary token for transactions.
>>
>>1969161
A wallet uses CPU power. If you're staking more than one coin it can bog your machine down. At that point you have to decide whether to set everything up on a VPS, Raspberry Pi or other machine. I once got a bluescreen and it corrupted my wallet database and it took a few days to download it and resync it.

I'd keep PIVX on my machine, but BitBean and other coins I rather just throw on POSW because I don't want to sacrifice 50% of my CPU running wallets.

marketcap for PIVX is currently $100m, which gives us around $1.90, at a circulating supply of 53,051,740

PoSW circulating supply is lower, the question is, how do we calculate what will the circulating supply be at a particular time? (for example in a few months) so we can compare.

Also, when people find out it's not 70 million total but 250million, this may cause dumps.

At what rate do the goins get added into the supply? there should be an algorithmic graphic like on bitcoin

Im not saying posw is the best thing ever but at least its value is tied to something (the profits of the exchange). If you go on coinmarketcap and look at all the other coins above it it's got to be better than most of them.

From FAQs
>What is a vested coin?

Vested means the amount is staking in the PoSWallet.com system. All staked coins are automatically vesting as well.

Unvested balances are generally vesteed within 10 hours.

>There's a 'Vested' amount and a 'Staked' (stake earnings) amount. Is the 'Staked' amount also staking?

Yes - all coins (excluding unvested) are automatically staked in your account. Once unvested coins become vesting (generally after ~10 hours), they earn stakes as well.

His point went completely over your moronic heads. The fact that literally no one on the posw team is identified means there is literally no accountability in the case of an exit scam. There's devs on ethereum and bitcoin that are named and identified, it doesn't matter that satoshi nakamoto is anonymous, the point is that there is some accountability to who is developing the coin. Posw is also very susceptible to an exit scam since the system itself actively encourages keeping all your coins on their centralized exchange. That "partnering with a non-profit to give back to Africa" is also super sketchy, they won't even have enough profit to provide meaningful returns on the monthy dividends promised to posw holders.

Vote for BTCR if you can spare a vote thank you.
>>
>>1972069
>admins steal all the POSW
>POSW now worthless
>admins stole nothingness

I don't completely disagree though, they could have done without the african kids shit
>>
>>1972069
They all went quiet now lol
>>
>>1972069
you mean like PIVX? hmmmmm i wonder how that is going? hmmmmm
>>
>>1972247
I imagine they would crash the price by first stealing then immediately turning all the stolen coins into BTC
>>
>>1972260
>Coins get stolen
>Mass panic
>Coins worth zero

>Exchange worthless coin for BTC
>Expecting anyone to trade their btc for something that was just labeled a scam

Are you using your brain anon?
>>
>>1972260
If they were just going to dump they could pretty easily do that with the massive premine.
In fact, that's more likely than stealing because it would take people at least a little bit longer to figure out what was going on.
>>
>>1972281
I'm no expert in this stuff so I have no idea how long it would take between getting hacked and people noticing and if that would be long enough for the hackers to convert into BTC or ETH etc

>>1972358
That's true
>>
>>1972412
However, I would really like to believe that the devs are smart enough to know they've got a goose that's going to start laying golden eggs if they just feed it enough.
Besides, if this were a scam they surely would've hyped up the ICO.
>>
>>1972358
Then again who cares about premine if they own the exchange. All the coins are in their exchange and they control the keys to the wallets. All anyone would have to do is run a command to transfer and sell everyone's coins simultaneously. People can get mad at the developers that this happened but they're anonymous so what are you going to do?
>>
>>1972423
People would notice if all the coins went missing from their wallet.
They wouldn't notice if the circulating supply was growing faster than it should as the premine gets pushed onto exchanges.
>>
>>1972412
>>1972419
People would find out long before they were able to dump all the coins.
Just the act of dumping all the coins instantaneously would crash it long before they got anything really worthwhile.
Secondly bitcoin IS traceable and it would be hell to launder all that.
>>
>>1970131
>>1969996

I think he means is there a way to directly buy the coin with USD or whatever. The answer is yes; PoSWallet's exchange provides that.
>>
>>1972454
>Secondly bitcoin IS traceable and it would be hell to launder all that.
That's a good point, although I think a good tumbler can launder any amount with enough time.
Still, I don't think dumping a premine is illegal, even if you said you wouldn't do it.
>>
Any updates on getting listed on Bittrex?
>>
What is POSW's cut? Surely the opportunity to run off with my bison bucks isn't their only incentive to stake for me?
>>
I was skeptic and im not anymore.
Developers would miss on massive gains by getting the money and run.
They will get more money by acting legitimately and keeping developing the platform while running masternodes.

$10 is guaranteed, look at "Bitconnect".

Poswallet guys are providing a good, new service, and masternodes are the new hype. It was smartcontracts, then anonymous coins, 2017 is the year of the masternodes. We ARE getting rich.
>>
>>1972499
They get a % of the staking, so they have an incentive to keep growing the project.

Everyone that has tried to run with money from exchanges is living a nightmare. Not a good idea.
>>
>>1971048
Excellent points. These guys have created something actually USEFUL for average joes.

They would be insane to miss on a potential money making machine via staking fees and posw masternodes, at the exchange of becoming worldwidely hunted criminals.
>>
>>1972487
>Still, I don't think dumping a premine is illegal, even if you said you wouldn't do it.
No that definitely isn't and if they already had possession of the coins it would make sense to dump a lot more slowly.
>>
did someone just buy 20k usd worth of this?

>>1972561
not unusual i'd say

They have either 30 million or 210 million premined coins in dev addresses that are only supposed to be used for fundraising. No one seems to be entirely sure which figure it is.
Supposedly these dev addresses are easy to identify in the block explorer but I haven't looked. Still, if they were planning to dump, they would surely have included some way to move money from those to regular addresses, so this is a much more pressing concern than outright theft.

But if it's happening I think it will be easier to get out without serious losses, because they wouldn't actually dump and empty out the order book; they'd leak a little at a time, and someone paranoid or autistic (or both) would notice.
>>
>>1972584
Is this for that african kids donation shit? That's the only thing about this that gives me a bad feeling. It's like the TRUMP fund, of course none of it ever went to Trump he had better shit to do than get involved in that. But it caused massive infighting, back stabbing and paranoia. I would know, having dumped all my coins at a loss before the pump when things looked bad.

Stupid gimmicks like that only detract from the coin itself and people will fight over all the details.

Still holding, cause imagine if and when the exchange starts picking up steam. Right now there's tons of FUD and people are still excited to use it.
>>
>>1972598
what were they thinking putting that on the roadmap? i hope the devs are not a bunch of nigerian princes
>>
>>1972598
No, they premined the entire supply so they could go straight to PoS and then sold 40 million in an ICO. The rest are burned as new coins are minted, but they said they may use them for additional fundraising. I'm pretty sure that's where the higher stake rate for subscribers comes from.

No worries, it's not about the referral. Just trying to help and figured why not.
>>

I would have used your referral if I already didn't have an account. Passed it onto a few friends who are interested.

In fact, I just removed the referral entirely so people don't feel weird about it.

Hope you found something useful.

What other information would you find useful on such a blog?

What does staking do, are there any negatives to it, what's a master-node, how can the website just give free coins through the faucet, & upcoming news about the coin.
>>
>>1972655

I will do deep dives onto each of these categories, but this gives an overview on some of them.
