Can we get this thread going for autists like me?
>general resume critiques and templates
>how to practice for an interview
>what attire to wear
I'm feeling strong on my resume, but I'm autistic at interviews. I look good on paper so I am getting plenty of calls but I always flub the phone interview, the personal interview, etc. just by saying something autistic.
Example:
>be me
>in interview
>"tell us about yourself."
>begin talking about diet I am trying
>job is to work for the government
>want to kill myself afterwards

try fucking an escort. nothing makes me feel more confident and at ease than paying some slag to bounce up and down on my cock :^)

If they say talk about yourself I normally start with education, then go on to jobs. Try to throw in some key points that make me sound qualified for job I'm interviewing for, or what my current job lacks that I'm looking for in a new job. Also throw in what you learned from each job.

This is good advice. Actually talking about yourself like what you do in your spare time is retarded.

>I'm here for the interview!
In a few days I will have an interview for a software development intern position.
Any specific tips?

it's not who you know, it's who you blow

>>"tell us about yourself."
Means tell them about your job history, or failing that your academic experience. Under no circumstances should you mention your personal hobbies, family, diet or the like.
I recommend that you actually have an elevator pitch written and practice it. Just don't speak too fast.

This doesn't make my wallet feel better.
just act like an enthusiastic faggot without a soul
this is the type of person corporations are looking to hire

knowing that you were the one who got a job out of like a 1000 potential applicants is a pretty good feeling though
if you think about it, given online application processes, you are pretty much just one dude amidst a mile high stack of resumes
the amount of luck you need just to get your first internship is absolutely insane given every dude and his mom has a 3.79 GPA from DickStick U

Don't make shit up, if you don't know say you don't know but will look it up and can get back to them with an answer via email after the interview.
People put tough questions in interviews to see how you handle things you don't know.
