Goys, I know few things about crypto now, but I was wondering if I can mine any with just my home computer? Is it worth it? What should I mine?
you'll lose money on the electricity vs the coin you get. You need a purpose built miner and cheap electricty.

You could buy a contract with Genesis mining, they have a server farm in Iceland.

Cryptonote coins are barely profitable (specifically Monero and Aeon) if your CPU supports AES-NI (e.g. was made in the last 5 years).
For random coins, Wolf's Miner. For XMR, use XMR-Stak-CPU.
Remember: AES-NI

I used to mine Monero on my Xeon server for at low process priority so it did not inhibit its function.
Forgot about it and rediscovered the wallet recently.
It had 50 XMR in it
Back then that was maybe $30
