My libraries at my university all have a bunch of Bloomberg Terminals that students are allowed to use.
I'm a math major, but I haven't ever done anything serious in finance but I do follow and read about the news and markets closely. How do I use these bad boys to make me some money?
1 - Download all historical data
2 - ???
3 - Profit!

There should be a training program that you need to complete.
If memory serves, need to past the core test and at least one of the four additional tests (Economics, Currencies, Fixed Income and Equities). They're a pain in the pass because they ask stupidly specific questions and you can only do like 1 retake.
I haven't used them since college, so I may be wrong.
its not easy to use
the more monitors you have the better you'll be at trading

Read about regression analysis. Download history of stock markets and build a model to predict future prices to profit. Not that hard if you can even maths. poser

My old job had a few of these. You can actually pull up locations of Oil Tanker ships anywhere in the world with a meter of how much oil they are filled with. Pretty fucking kewl imo

you dont need it. a decent platform for $200-500/month like das or realtick will be better. theres really no difference between platforms except for ease of use. also google news is all you need if you want to read news
