How big of a meme is it?
I'm a first year ChemE and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile. I just chose this because I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school and it seemed somewhat flexible.
Is it worth it in the end?
Also, is this there anything else you can do with the degree? I know there are some anons who have applied it to banking but what will my options be?

Unless you want to work a trade, gamble on being an "entrepooner" then yes it's worth it as engineering even outside of engineering jobs is an extremely marketable degree.
