Honestly, that's amazing, I live in Kansas City 5 years and never even realized we had a Sears.

Google says they're in the industrial area which explains a lot, not even the minorities go down there since the bus lines don't run that far.

Appliances needs you to work 30-35 minimum a week and you average in 200 dollars a day of work.

I used to work there in my early 20's until my store went out of business. Honestly it's amazing that they are STILL in business. Their inability to adapt to the modern marketplace has been the bane of their existence. They still pretend like it's 1982 and believe people want to buy their shitty protection agreements that cost half the price of their big ticket item and 27% APR credit card.

Same. Last time I shopped there, I just wanted to get a couple cheap long sleeve shirts. Stood in line at the only open checkout for a few minutes, and then just threw the shit on the nearest shelf. There were three clerks standing around trying to explain to some immigrant fuck that their card was declined or something. Their flagship store at the Mall of America is like a deserted warehouse--empty shelves everywhere.

From what I've read, the leadership is just bleeding it dry for whatever profitability is left before selling off the assets and turning it into a real estate holding company. They've already sold the craftsman brand for a tidy sum.
