When did you first realize that people enjoy giving their money away, as long as they get the tingles while doing it?
>>
>>1945837
When the first casino was built arround 2000B.C
>>
>>1945840
Been that long, and we still haven't learned. I wonder how many fools try to martingale Yobit's dice game. A lot I'd imagine.
>>
>>1945837
It's not gambling if you win.

t. Someone who's made tens of thousands gambling

People are betting on some crappy online dice roller?
>>
>>1945968
Oh yeah, they've been doing it for a while now.
>>
>>1945957
Gambling implies a house advantage. Keep doing it, and you will lose.
>>
We can make money gamblig its hard but possible we have some experience members at gambling. you can join the group. They mostly do sports beddings.

>>
>>1945837
that's like 500 dollars each.
>>
>>1946116
Yeah, but that's only from a billisecond on that site. The rolls happen so frequently you can't even see them unless you take a SS.
>>
I made like half a BTC some time ago from dice. Also almost lost a whole BTC, since then haven't touched it again.

Also
>watch my 100% win strat on youtube!

People thinking that there is any possible way to win dice because of some "strat" are fucking retarded.
>>
>>1946134
Every strategy comes down to martingale. People think they are so clever for doing it, until they lose everything.
>>
>>1946137
the only way to win consistently in gambling is to play poker or blackjack. skill is actually required in these.
>>
>>1946157
Poker and trading are hard to categorize. Not sure I would call them gambling at all, since there's no house edge.
>>
>>1946137
kek this.

Every fucking "guys check out this strategy I just invented!!!" comes down to martingale.

It's so fucking funny when they think they're being original though.

OP if you want to gamble, I use PrimeDice with the fountain of literally just 150 satoshi and set it to martingale automatically for millions of rolls. If it goes to 0, I take out the fountain and start again.

You'll barely even make pennies if you're lucky though, but it's risk-free so you can just leave it on a machine for years I guess, come back, and you might see something interesting. I don't know.

>>1946163
Trading is trading, far from investing. Speculation can be very risky trading and borders on gambling.
>>
>>1946071
gambling implies "the house always wins" but the house winning and the player winning are not mutually exclusive, poker and sports betting for example
>>
>>1946137
>martingale
Yup, that's how I won, but that is how I also almost lost it all. Was literally down to like the last roll or so and got lucky af.
>>
>>1946173
>Trading is trading, far from investing. Speculation can be very risky trading and borders on gambling.

True. They are very similar. Gambling when there is a house edge is especially stupid though.

I have 150 Etherroll tokens. Keep them? I hear you get profits on the house rake from there site.

Another question. Are these dice roller sites profitable if you just set the odds in your favor and constantly keep betting all day? Wouldn't you be ahead at the end based on the odds?
>>
>>1946207
> if you just set the odds in your favor

How do you plan on doing this?
>>
>>1946211
Go to etheroll.com. You set your own odds and the house takes 1% of a win.
>>
Dicegame? I only play here: https://primedice.com/?c=adb4dz
They have a really cool faucet too
>>
>>1946216
It changes your win %, but not your overall expectancy. Higher win % = lower payout. There is still always a house edge. Betting here would be foolish, just as anywhere else.
>>
>>1945837
What the fuck am I looking at? Bet on 'random' number generated by this exchange?
>>
>>1946207
>Another question. Are these dice roller sites profitable if you just set the odds in your favor and constantly keep betting all day? Wouldn't you be ahead at the end based on the odds?

You have brain damage.
>>
>>1946231
Yes. Better odds than roulette, if the programming is honest. Still stupid though.
>>
>>1946207
This is the brain of a typical coin owner
>>
>>1946236
>if the programming is honest

All reputable sites implement "provably fair" which allows the user to verify the integrity of the rolls using cryptography. This prevents the site from cheating without being caught. You don't have to just blindly trust the developers.

It's still -EV though so you're retarded if you put your money on it.
>>
>>1946236
Yeah running such a site might not be so stupid though
>>
>>1946250
No doubt.
>>
>>1946222
Can you withdraw in US?
>>
>>1945968
Dude, google "bitcoin casino", there are numerous options for you to throw your money away on.

Ethereum is also getting on board with this too; the one I'm most familiar with is Etheroll.
>>
>>1946207
If you run the odds, your payout will never guarantee you profit. If you don't have enough understanding of probability and extremely basic statistics to understand how casino games make money, you have no business spending time and/or money on gambling.
>>
>>1946236
Most casinos have better odds than roulette, but that's not saying much. 1% rake is about as low as most go, but bottom line a rake is a rake on any probability-based game, which basically guarantees the gamblers lose money over the long run.

If I had bitcoin to throw away, I'd be investing it in etheroll or other crowdfund casinos, because that way I'm more likely to get a return on investment.

Why be a customer when I can be an owner?
>>
>>1946250
...if you can secure your storage/payout wallets.

If you own IRL casinos, you can get the balance sheet insured; if you own a crypto casino, good luck with insurance, and permanent accessibility == constant attack vectors.
>>
>>1945837
You do realize edgeless exists now? It's built on an ethereum smart contract. It's like you people want to stay poor
>>
>>1947524
>edgeless
the faq says edgeless has a 0.83% edge
