Can I get rich by writing a book about personal finance?

Yes. Will you? No.
Now have fun going back to school tomorrow morning kid. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Sure you can. I wouldn't write a book about actual straight up advice in personal finance though. You should make the book interesting to most people, advertise the book well, and make it seem as the book contains a secret, how to get rich. Make it seem as your book is a tool for becoming rich, a passport to worldly wealth.

Technically no, especially if you self-publish, you can use it as a corner stone in creating a "brand" and becoming an "authority" so you can make the real money in selling packages, tickets to seminars, and whoring yourself out for other brand's through endorsements.

Yes, look how easily all the retards on this board fall for the "I can get rich by reading books" meme. The irony is, the only ones getting rich are the authors.
