I think its pretty decent for my age. But I must give thanks to my parents for helping me with my assets, without them I wouldn't have what I have today.

Worked fucked hours at KFC since I was 15. Spent way to much money on a gayming PC, Laptop etc. Felt retarded and guilty, got into the idea of investing. Put 2k on AMD, made 2.5k off that when I was 17 (it'd have been a lot more had I held). Kept working/investing/reinvesting, stopped buying dumb shit, and here I am today. Sadly buying a car is going to rip a good half of what I have :/

It hasn't been all gains, I lost 1k on MLS (learnt a lot from that). But overall I'm probably up 3.5k from the stock market.

Goal is to have about 100k in safe stocks by the time I finish my degree. 10k a yr in dividends etc. is enough to keep me off the side of a street, and pay for rent when I move out. Hopefully the housing market crashes by then so I can buy a house.

First year comp sci/law student btw. Figured if law doesn't work out I'll just do a bunch of CISCO modules and aim to be a Network Architect. They earn between 100-300k, which sounds pretty good.
