I reduced my stack and took profit just in case it goes to hell because of some mega bug or if bitcoin copycats and everyone ignores ethereum for years.

I've never understood people that say eth is in competition with btc. Btc is a currency and payment method that competes with USD and PayPal. Ethereum can be used as a currency just like wheat or coal can be, but that isn't its main purpose. Realistically bitcoin isn't going to replace the dollar, but Ethereum provides a unique and potentially very very valuable service, unlike bitcoin.
