PIVX is theoretically going to flip value with Dash since they're the same concept but PIVX makes Dash obsolete. You might make some money with Ripple but I think it's going to have a correction soon.

Very undervalued and lots of great features on the way. The main dev seems really solid

I hold both obviously. I think we'll see one or both surpass ETH level hype in a few months/years.
My philosophy is that cryptos are fundamentally money, that's all anyone wants out of them. So then the most important item becomes how fast I can transfer it.
Most coins aren't running into the same problems as bitcoin just because they haven't been around as long to hit the same problem, so we need something that can scale - ie. be fast now and be fast years from now.
