I got roughly 1500$ back this year.
>spent 200$ on a shitload of old records
>spent 40$ on pizzas with my friends from this really fucking good restaurant
>spent 50$ on booze
>spent 50$ on two pairs of these shoes I like, they're a cheap brand but they're buy on get one half off and they last roughly a year so I'm stocking up
Other than that it's all getting invested.

I didn't get one because I'm not an idiot. I owed $54.36 this year.
If you even get a refund (which ideally you shouldn't), the correct answer is to put it right back into your accounts. It's just an interest-free loan that the gov't is paying back.
Already spent it on whisky and SNAP (bad timing)

Got $7900 back, using it to pay myself back my RRSP I borrowed against for my mortgage last year. Wouldn't have been so high if they hadn't raised the territorial living cost allowance by 3.50 a day.
spend it on nightshift.co

pay my debts with it.
only getting $2500 of rougly ~$3900 c/c debts
so not bad, I already have a great budget i'm sticking too saving me ~$400/mo so i'll use that to pay the rest after the $2500 deduction.
Nothing out of the ordinary but I did go back and look at my withholdings because I don't need to give uncle sam an interest free loan.
>mfw $0.34 rebate
why even issue it?

Do you even biz?
Got $500 back. Was expecting to pay, w/e.
I'll probably dump it into an IRA, or partially pay to get my old ass tree out of my front yard.

To be fair, if you owe a ton then odds are that you actually underpaid (unless you had a bad year the previous year) and can get slapped with a penalty. You're supposed to make quarterly payments.

You do realize that a large tax return is bad
