This coin has some interesting technology. It's multi-algorithm (5-algos) which keeps it decentralized and hard to 51% attack. It also has network level privacy features built in. If the devs did a coin swap to reduce the number of coins and added a few other features this coin could really soar.

XVG is decently valued around 4-5 satoshis which gives it a market cap similar to XMY (another older multi-algo coin). XVG should probably be worth more though because it has privacy features whereas XMY does not.

The big problem with XVG is there are too many coins which forces it to trade in the single satoshi digits thereby making it extremely volatile. They really should do at least a 1:10 reverse split.

A 1:10 or even better a 100:1 reverse coin split is sorely needed here. Even a 1:10 would put XVG at 1.2 billion coins. Other coins like BAY seem to do fine with around a billion coins in circulation.

Verge could easily surge bigtime if the dev provides a way forward on reducing the coin supply and maybe adding new features. Look how well MUE did after announcing an upcoming coin swap, new features and a reduction in total coin supply. MUE was trading around 250 sat in early March and currently trades at 2800.
