I want a a job where i can spend all day on a ferry. Especially the ones in Japan that have a indoor hot tub. But i dont want to be captain or crew member.
Is it possible for a business man to just ride ferries all day?

Of course it's possible. Just pay your fare every time and ride

How much money have you got?

No. I want free boat rides! I want my office setup on a boat, where all i do is look at the nice ocean waves with the refreshing scent of the sea breath while doing my salaryman work.

go work on a cruise ship but as shop staff (i.e. in the luxury watch shop). tax laws mean that the shops close within a couple of miles of land and don't open until they get back out to sea.
source: my sister did this and basically she would make sure the shope was stocked for closing, go into port, spend the day in whatever city they docked at then get back on board at night. didn't work until the next day.
much easier than being crew who work even when the ship's in port. plus you get to see the world.

It's not your boat because you're poor

Im expecting on having at least a 60 k starting salary

Great, so subtract from that tax and the cost of renting a cabin every day. How much is left?

i dont fucking know. And thats implying my company will even let me work on a ferry....
