No unless you got great self control and live with your parents. The only reason you would want a credit card it's to avoid fees from debit cards.

If you want a credit card, go for low fee or low interest depending on your situation.

Rewards cards are not worth it unless you have platinum and are running all your expenses through it, even then you only get a few flights a year.

Well you weigh up rewards vs the annual fee, I pay 200 bucks for my card and rack up thousands worth of airfares in reward points, so for me it's profitable.
