Would you rather be thrust in the limelight with fame as well as tons of money? Or would you prefer to be under the radar while having a fortune?
anonymously wealthy, so i could have a nice life and didnt have to worry about robbers or crazy stalkers + i could keep the same friends and not have to worry about them just being my friends in hope for some money/benefits

So anon that legit no one even has the idea that you have money and everyone calls you poor
Just for the meme

Yeah I agree with this. I have middle to upper-middle class tastes and groups of friends. I don't really care to deal with what high-rollers have to go through.

You can even make a game out of this by leading a dual life. You have your swank mansion far from everyone else and you also rent a condo/apartment where everyone thinks you're just an average Joe.

This famalam
I'd buy some nice place to live, nothing too fancy. Just a quiet neighborhood with little traffic.
Also a "nice" car but a one doesn't attract attention. That's all I need.
Anonymously wealthy. Celebrity stories make that life sound nightmarish in a way.

Ever read The Millionaire Next Door? I'm willing to bet there's quite a few people in normal neighborhoods that have millions, but don't flaunt it or let anyone else know about it.

I think moderate fame would be a nice ego booster. For instance, where someone would recognize me every now and then but nothing like Michael Jackson level fame where I couldn't go outside without getting swarmed. That would be a nightmare.

Only if they live in California, New York City, or Florida alongside other celebrities. You can always just live on some swanky country estate in Wyoming like Harrison Ford does. Or you can have a private island in the Pacific. Or live overseas in Australia or Europe.

I'm sorta with you on that, but even a moderate amount of fame would paint a target on you and your family. Like Markus Persson, one of the developers for Minecraft and has $1.5 billion. It'll be hard as fuck to develop meaningful relationships with women because you're gonna be swamped with gold diggers.
Anonymous all the way. You can invite college girls on your yacht without paparazzi hounding you or travel to Europe for holiday on your private jet.

That actually sounds cool. You reside in the apartment on weekdays while you live in the mansion on weekends. Don't have to worry about anyone knowing that you're rich.

Didn't he get a divorce right after he sold Minecraft?
Probably anonymously. Because you can always go public, but once you go public you can never become anonymous again.
