If you want to make big gains in a day you need more than your phone. I use dastrader to scan charts on 4x stocks of interest right at market open, that's when the most volatility happens. When you see volume on a stock and expect it to shoot up, buy it. Then sell it when it peaks, which could be like 5 minutes. The best way to know when it has peaked is to watch volume drops and level 2 sales info. There are a bunch of free videos on youtube for all of this.

If you dont know what you are doing then this is also the easiest way to lose your money in a day.

This morning I was watching OPGN, AUPH, IDXG, and JNUG.

IDXG had volume right off the bat so I bought in on it, once volume dropped I sold out. Bought in at $2.59 at 9:32, sold at $3.20 at 9:39. $400 gain
