How far do you think it'll go before it starts dumping?

If everyone's a dick like pic related.
I'm predicting another dip at 800 satoshis.

>expecting it not to be a pump and dump

>tfw bought in during that doji flatline

Gullible. bay have better tech then eth, what can go wrong. At this level its free money all the way to 0.1usd.
>>
>>1881914
>7 million market cap
>increase of over 200% since we started pumping
It's clearly not just us.
>>
Also who's the retard that went on bitcoin talk forum and said what sparked the price movement?
>>
>>1881856
>in for 53k Bay.
you better be right, /biz/
>>
>>1881856
Got in at 356 satoshi. Kinda late but already close to a double. The 22nd will be amazing however. The wallet is coming out. Also polychain is interested in buying up bitbay
>>
>>1883033
Hate to burst your bubble but if you're referring to that post on the btc forum then it's not gonna happen. One of the mods deleted that post and said the guy was not affiliated with Poly
>>
I'm still in awe at the fact that /biz/ caught this coin at such a decent price before the wallet comes out.

If I'm reading the tech correctly, this has absolutely surreal potential. /g/ would hate me for this but I think even more importantly than the tech is the fact that the company has impeccable PR and seems like they're actually geared towards a very normie market.

That's good for us. I'm holding for a year, probably. Will keep buying dips as they come - gladly.
>>
>>1883132
Darn. But at least the wallet comes out tomorrow so that should increase prices by a good margin.
>>
>>1883204
Right now all bitbay dev team need to do is hiring good looking, pretty women as their PR representative and release youtube update regularly, if done correctly, within a couple of month it would gain lots of attention and will boost it's marketcap to >$50 million

Always bet on /biz/.
>>
>>1883223

If they don't, we should seriously consider setting up some sort of campaign. Don't underestimate the power of this board. This is like watching /pol/ steer the U.S. election all over again but even scarier and more awesome because it's /biz/ challenging the financial infrastructure of the planet.

We'll need our best looking normies out there making trendy youtube clips with nice graphics and simple vocabulary to make this thing pop off. Depending on the state of things a year or so from now I'd be willing to invest in a 30 second advertisement / explanation video done by some college marketing gurus or something.
>>
>>1883204
It's amazing me to see people saying they've sold their entire stack in a few threads. If it not jus FUD they're fucking retarded. This coin has mind blowing potential, shit if they're that risk adverse sell 3/4, realize a 50% profit and still keep a decent stack.
>>
>>1881856
Should I put an ETH in this while it's weak?
>>
Dumping half a BTC in it. Better be worth it and not some pump and dump.

PIVx / BitBay master race field trip.
>>

It's really not that weird. Some probably went in not expecting too much. Tthen they nearly doubled their investment and were satisfied enough.

Do trades on Bittrex have commission fees even if i cancel?

>you decided to enter the cyberpunk timeline in which you and all of your buddies from /biz/ become literal billionaires through meme magic and cryptotrading

>a few years from now you are going to be waking up early to drink high quality coffee and trade cryptos on an iPad in a comfy cafe by the beach or whatever /comfy/ location you prefer

>Anons will be doing this from cozy commie blocks in St. Petersburg, tiny sushi bars in beautiful Tokyo, penthouse suites in Shanghai, and nice middleclass homes in Zurich

>BitBay is going to be the 'normie' coin because of the based devs actually seem to understand that a nice clean sleek user-friendly mom-friendly cryptowallet is exactly what the world needs, rather than another overtly-clandestine drug coin

That wallet release coming tomorrow is the first step. I'm in disbelief. We're going to be looking back on these days for the rest of our lives. This is like the wild west, the dotcom boom, the golden age of penny stocks all over again.

I've been on 4chan since ~2006 or so and throughout that time I've watched and studied the power of these boards. I've grown up with the place, too.

I'll save you the motivational speech because I can tell from your reaction that you don't need that and you're interested in the facts. A quick summary of my confidence is roughly as follows:

>ask a geek in 2006 who "runs the internet" and literally all of them will tell you 4chan. Back then, that consisted of raids on children's videogames and other completely inconsequential activity.

>fast forward to 2016 onwards, ask anyone where the bulk of their activity is taking place and you'll find that they say 'the internet' - larger society has rapidly shifted its focus to the internet. Work, school, business, even people's personal lives now take place on the internet. That wasn't the case in 2006.

>but wait, did the control or influence of the internet shift in that time? NO. 4chan is still the ultimate hotbed for all things creative, nefarious, hilarious, and meaningful on the internet. But now the stakes are much higher.

This is why we see things like /pol/ wielding a disproportionate influence over things like the U.S. election and media coverage. Things flow from here to the wider internet (Reddit, Tumblr, etc.) and that leaks into Facebook faster than you can imagine. You are quite literally funneling content to the entire world once that chain takes place. This is why Hillary Clinton had a fucking campaign article about Pepe the Frog.

BitBay has the potential to be something adopted very early on by 4chan and successfully marketed to and adopted by normies (for lack of a better word) in the future. It aspires to be a 'mom-friendly' crypto wallet and exchange and that could change the world. Get in now - you don't need to spend very much at this point. I think the gains are going to be astronomical.

I watched it happen with BTC and ETH.
>>
>>1883531
Why would you need crypto for weed if weed is on a sure trajectory to be legalised all over the western world.
>>
>>1883528
Nice post. +1
>>
>>1883528
If you compare it to bitcoin in terms of coin amounts, its alrady at 0.3 dollars..How far do you thin it will go? Its an obscure coin barely on any exchanges.
And why isnt it on poloniex? maybe cause its shady?
>>
bitbay subreddit needs our intervention- its a graveyard
>>
>>1883547

Agreed; 4chan has incredible power to influence the internet but it doesn't happen by magic, it takes anons going out there and disseminating it.

These comfy futures
>>1883478
>>1883528
are all very possible but only if we work our meme magic.
>>
>>1883531
Can't wait for early 2014, the advanced security feature is gonna be HUGE
>>
>>1883542
Name one coin that has seen niche industry adoption of this sort. One where I'd be motivated to go and grab a crypto specific to what they do to spend with them.
>>
>>1883547
>>1883547
>>1883552

These anons are right. We don't pray, we meme. We're going to need to start spreading the word outside of /biz/ soon and ideally we want some simple videos with a pretty girl explaining the paradigm shift potential with this new coin. We need to be willing to put our faces out there talking about this because we've actually come across a coin with serious tech value and a very, very, very good PR image.

>>1883541

I honestly believe that it's because the company was spending all of their money on development rather than advertising and so it's been flying under the radar. We're the early adopters. Expect a lot of attention following the release of the wallet.
>>
>>1883541

Marketcap still too low to be represented apperantly
>>
>>1883566
looking at the graphs and you are right. Thank you for the tip!
>>
>>1883561
but what you think doesnt matter. You are the sucker...
Dont you get how this works??
People are making millions..They pump a coin through social media people like you think this is something real and then the original pumpers run when its at the peak and you are left with the falling price.
Maybe bitbay will be good in X long time..who knows..
But the pump is over and its going down fast now.
>>
We need to hit Twitter and Reddit.

Nobody is going to come to our side of the internet or read 200-page cryptotalk forum threads.

If dubs i get my dick sucked tnt
>>
>>1883581
There are 3 pumps, each one getting to a bigger pump. /biz/ pump, then bitcoin forums pump, then reddit pump. We just have to wait for the other pumps, then sell. If you're selling now, you're doing it wrong
>>
>>1883581
Even if you don't believe as hard as some people do, it's probably still worth keeping for at least 2 more days

>>
>>1883541
Here's some positive signs.
1.Never been burned before
2.Developer seems to be very active with it when it comes to making improvements.
3.Already offers features bitcoin is incapable of.
4.It not being on poloneix is a positive, more room to grow when it gets added and there's no reason not to.
5.Midterm I could conservatively see this coin getting to $20m easily with a longterm potential far higher.
>>
>>1883629
Now look at how many coins bitbay has and how many coins bitcoin has..
Lets round it up to 20 mil for bitcoin..
To get to 1 billion which is how much bitbay has you have to multiply by 50!
if you do that you see that the per coin price is already at 0.3 dollars per bitbay coin.
ETH when compared to bitcoin is at about 160 dollars per coin.
>>
>>1883655
did you check the github? cause i see very sparse additions...

Once it becomes apparent that /biz/ has seen the light and adopted it as /our coin/, I'm completely in on this. I suspect that we'll see a massive surge in interest once the wallet is released and the naysayers will be panic-buying at rates never seen before.

We'll need to set up base somewhere to discuss longer-term plans moving forward because /biz/ is a bit difficult, structure-wise, for doing so.

We should be getting active on Reddit and Twitter, and any decent cryptocurrency forums. Start building up a web presence now and gain followers and online connections.

This coin is worth the effort and I'm confident that we can help the dev out quite a bit with our persuasion abilities.

A lot of you idiots will sell out early, at, say at $10,000 or whatever.

I'm literally holding out until the market cap of all crypto reaches $1 trillion. Then I'll sell 80% but still keep some. I've got a good 10k into this and I'm not giving a cent up until we hit a trillion.
>>
>>1884073
That's the longest term hodler plan I've ever seen. At that point, the world reserve currency will be a crypto of some kind (or multiple) so you won't even need to cash them out. I plan to do the same with a large percentage of my holdings (i.e. never sell.)
>>
>>1884342
Fleabay is worth like $36 billion, Bitbay would easily ellipse that. A thousand dollar investment today could be worth a million in 5 years. A lot of people will sell early and it's understandable.
>>
>>1885332
I'd say less than five years. Really the only thing David has to do is the pegging feature which will be done by Q3 of this year. Word will spread fast about this and since the tech is pretty much complete buyer confidence will be established

What I'd like to know is what the purpose in doing this is.

If the 10btc whale wanted out, they'd get a lot more money dumping it by 1btc at a time whenever the bids build up to a decent height.

Why park a sell wall of this size and wait for it to get eaten up? Surely someone investing these amounts in obscure cryptos know they'll just get undercut and sell hardly any.

Why continue to shill for a coin which started to stagnate because early entrees want to reap their profits? In a sense, they're shilling for others while having very little chances to gain more for themselves.

It works with the stakers to basically lock in a bottom price.

Once we stabilize and hit say 10 cents per coin, we could then peg it to 10 cents by voting.

It makes it so that there aren't any pump and dumps and the price remains stable after it has found it's real value.

This is the problem with Bitcoin, is that you can lose half of your value overnight.

If BitBay has an unmovable bottom that's voted on once it reaches a price we all agree on, it can only go up from there and we can adjust the bottom accordingly.

Whales want this because they're making a profit from staking, and investors want this because they don't want to buy a currency and have it drop half of it's value overnight.

It really is a forward-thinking idea, especially with the volatility of cryptos.

You have to have BTC in order to deposit onto Bittrex.

If you don't want to use Cuckbase and face you face finger-printed, then I would use a Bitcoin ATM.

www.bitcoinatmradar.com

Download Mycelium if you have an Android, it's a Bitcoin wallet.

Then open an account at Bittrex, it's the exchange that BAY is traded on.

Go to the ATM and print a paper wallet, then deposit your money.

Click the picture logo in between Send and Receive.

Scan the code, then go to Bittrex and click wallets.

Click the "+" on BTC for deposit, and generate a deposit address.

Enter that address into the send field in Mycelium and for the amount you want to send, click max. I use priority for the fee.

It will take about 20 minutes to broadcast, then once you're in Bittrex, you can buy BAY.
>>
>>1887791

Yep, wait for the Ethereum version and buy that one.
>>
>>1888809
It's called I/O Digital (IOC), it's a slow consistent uptrend.

I've made about 30% in the past month, and the only sell wall is at 60k, and it's hovering around 40k right now.
>>
>>1888809
what does that mean?
>>
Where do I buy these bitbaes? I only just got into krypto yesterday and only have 1eth and .03 bitcoins to my name at coinbase.
>>
>>1888814
Thanks, I'll look into it.
>>
>>1888819
Don't, everyone on /biz/ is selling it including many of us who were very bullish on it before.
>>
also top fucking kek at those 40000+ sat asks that have over 100k bay
>>
>>1888814
IOC is not built on Ethereum. It is a separate coin with its own separate blockchain.
>>
Don't sell yet, wait for a bit of an upswing for those looking for cheap BAY and then sell at around 400.
>>
>>1888828
The true bag holders.
>>
>>1888832
I didn't mean to imply that, I just meant that IOC is basically all encompassing around ETH+BAY+STORJ
>>

Just to be clear, I'm advocating for a sell, all I'm saying is don't hop on the Dip Express, wait for it to pull into the station and for some people to get enticed by the dip and bring up the price before selling out.
