what you will do is (assuming your wallet uses the mnemonic phrase to recover your shit)

1. get a bitcoin unlimited (lite) wallet that supports your mnemonic phrase (like a lite wallet that supports BIP32 or BIP44 i believe, don't worry most good lite wallets will support this, also those for BU)
2. go into the wallet and enter your mnemonic phrase for recovery
3. done

The amount will, but it's unlikely that the value will. The price of bitcoin is determined by supply and demand on the exchanges. Doubling the supply is unlikely to magically cause a doubling in demand.
