i know this is a foolish question but I'm new to crypto: how can i move my eth/btc from coinbase to poloniex so i can trade it in for PIVX
>>
>>1869794

PIVX isn't listed on Poloniex yet because they haven't decided add it.

The only big exchange is on it's one called Bittrex.

You aren't foolish anon. You would have to get your deposit address from Bittrex to deposit in your Bitcoin. There isn't a ETH/PIVX only BTC/PIVX.

Very strong roadmap and competes favourably against Dash which is seeing insane gains.

The only issue with pivx right now is lack of awareness.

With this recent news article, we're looking good.

Roadmap:
https://pivx.org/what-is-pivx/roadmap/

One of my favorite aspects is the escrow system they're planning, as a professional freelancer the current options are ridiculous with 20%+ fees.

Proof they actually have these features in code, not text:
https://pivx.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/pivx-seesaw-whitepaper-v.7-1.pdf

You really think an altcoin that isn't even top ten news worthy? Exactly, it has some damn good merit.
>>
Oh and set google alerts for pivx, being so tech based you'll want to know when something new is released or announced.

I'd recommend just throwing 100$ in and forget about it for the next 3 months, your downside is 100$, you're upside is anywhere from 101 to 10k~+
>>
>>1869976
isn't lack of awareness sort of a good thing for long term holders? assuming that awareness will grow sooner or later
>>
>>1869974

That's good to hear anon, hopefully all of us who invest will be driving lambo's in the not so long future.

The important thing here is getting into PIVX early. Which is what we are doing.

Thanks for the video going to watch it in a few.

Yeah, imagine getting in on Dash before it launched type deal.

Going to be a bit of a wait, or hell, if news is taking articles on it maybe not.

Lack of awareness is only good if you want to be extremely greedy and purchase a lot of the coin.

Eventually you're going to want the awareness to spread so others can buy in and there can be a price increase.

The issue is that PIVX needs to be added onto the larger exchanges like Poloniex, Kraken, etc. But again everything happens for a reason.

Holding PIVX so early on like this feel like those lucky people who mined bitcoin in the beginning.

preying on your own people by creating a memecoin with 4chan lingo /ourguy/, etc just to create a pump & dump

I know exactly whats going on with this milocoin bullshit, its probably a group of people on /biz/ or pissed off /g/ people, create a coin with no functional value and attach it to a meme, you guys probably hold a lot via instamine or someshit. then you create a shill team on /biz/ with milocoin generals.

Milocoin roadmap is fucking retarded. Come back when your coin actually has function instead of being a memecoin

I also recommend all PIVX investors to go to

https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

and fill out the request form for PIVX to be listed there.

I think this coin is perfect for poloniex

Thanks anon. This infograph looks really good. Also this coin differs from Dash because its deciding to give up its privacy features in order to become more compliant with KYC laws. It's trying to become mainstream and has decided to abandon their key feature, privacy. If you can some how fit that into your infograph it will be great.

you can download PIVX latest wallets here

https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/

>>1872583

I'm trying to find where I read about the obfuscation, but if I can remember correctly it has something to do with how bitcoin mixers work, this feature is built into the wallet instead of having to send your somewhere else for it to be mixed.
>>
>>1872562
they should really stop the moon shilling, that's not good for the coin
>>

Yeah, trying to reach some of the other areas of /biz/, might remove it.

when you download your wallet wich file are you supposed to run? i started pivx-qt.exe and synced my wallet but everytime i try to encrypt my wallet it broke. and after restart it claimed blockchain broke or something like that so i deleted all files and will start again but its slightly confusing..

The major feature you were shilling for was the privacy one and now you are shilling it because they abandoned it?

I have a question about staking. So to start staking I follow instructions on >>1872667 , then I have to keep the wallet open with the green arrow on, correct?

So for the staking payments, in the pic related, it says for staker the payout is 8.28pivx per block. I'm assuming that this reward is split between all stakers on the network. Considering that the block time is 60 seconds, this small amount can add up to quite a lot in the long run.

Am I on the right track here? Any stakers here with payout estimates?

m8s I'm new to the crypto life, i sent my btc over to bittrex, how do i turn it in to pivx now so i can reap these sweet sweet rewards
>>
>>1875567
go to pivx/btc on bittrex
find a price you want to buy it at - if you want your order to be filled immediately and dont care about short time influctations, just copy the first price on the ask tab (currently its 0.00021697)
Next, in the buy pivx box, paste that number into the bid -> price, click max on the box above that if you want to put all your bitcoins in to pivx. It should tell you how much pivx you can buy with that.
click buy, double check on the confirmation box, and wait for order fill
>>
>>1875603
thank you

Something feels very 'off' about this coin to me. All of these sleek charts and optimistic articles about it before it even hits Poloniex?

Suspicious.

I'm going in big. Best of luck to you all riding the wave. Put your money in and start hoping that the shills do what shills do best.

I think we're in early enough to really enjoy this one.

I bought at 9 cents!

Waiting for 5$ and then 40$
>>
>>1876167

Wave predictions? Wave predictions.

I'll probably keep hoarding until this goes public on Poloniex. Probably cash out 50% at $2-3, wait for the inevitable dip, buy back in around $0.50 and then I'm holding for a year or so. I wouldn't be surprised to see this hit something like $20 by the end of the year, but we have to hope that the dev team stays equally focused on marketing and publicizing the coin as they are on developing its tech aspects.

Persuasion coin.

and now it all starts tumbling down :^)
