Historically yes obviously, but I think their is money to be made in buttcoins. I wouldn't put my entire retirement into it.
I just don't like the naive people saying they'll being spending "insert coin here" for the rest of their lives. They are going to have a rude awakening when a government backed coin or whatever happens actually takes over.
