Story time /biz/
>be 20 year old undergrad at state university studying business
>have a finance professor who makes $200,000/year (public university, all teachers' salaries are available online for viewing)
>walking to class one day and I see pic related pull into the faculty parking
>think it's probably some poor grad student or something
>door opens and finance professor gets out
In those couple seconds I learned more than an entire semester in his class.
nobody gives a shit about your babby tier story
>getting a business degree
>didn't understand until now that if you spend your money like a retard you'll be poor
kek no wonder you're in a fucking state school
1. PhD's in business make approx 20-30k. So while the salary is great, you're building off little.
2. I don't give a fuck about high quality cars. I'm getting a PhD in business and I hope this will be me one day. I would rather spend 10k upgrading a shower to have multiple heads, and a full length bath component. Fuck spending so much on a car, they're miserable death boxes.
>you get rich by squirelling money away, not making increasing amounts of money
you're focused on the wrong side of the equation anon

/o/ here, you are wrong, very wrong.
It's fucking hard. You have to be research productive. You have to want it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

>In those couple seconds I learned more than an entire semester in his class
Clarify statement.
What did you learn in those 'seconds' vs what are you going to learn in the entire semester?
