/biz/ Need some advice. About to start receiving $3200 a month for the rest of my life. Married with 1 kid, and about $80k savings. No home, no other assets. How to live rest of life without working?

Bump
Well, I'm surprised that you have to ask. The answer is pretty obvious.
3.2k a month is 38400 per year. After taxes, let's call it 30k.
Cut your expenses to below 30k, ideally 20k, and live off of that. It'll be rough, but possible. Maybe move to a 3rd world country.
You'll need to use that extra 10k per year to invest so that inflation doesn't slowly eat you alive, assuming that 3200 is a fixed amount. You don't want to wake up at 50 with zero recent job experience and find out that the price of Friskies has gone up by a dollar, forcing you down to one meal a day.
I wish you good luck, you'll need it.

Where are you getting the money?
Does your mistake...I mean uh, WIFE, yeah wife, work?
I wouldn't buy any housing until the market crashes again. We're still in the recession of 2008, the only reason we seem to be doing well is Federal Reserve fuckery that papers over the problems, but all the underlying problems are still there. 1.3 trillion in student loan debt, housing bubble forming again, etc.
I'd get some gold and silver. Trump can't keep this boom going forever.
