I just downloaded Coinbase on my phone and i'm interested in investing in crypto. The rebound Bitcoin had last week has convinced me that these are sound investments. However, bitcoin costs an arm and a leg, whereas Ethereum is comparatively cheaper and has also been on a winning streak.
Which one would you recommend that I buy? Thanks.
i would rather buy ether (when it dips)

Is ethereum a good long-term hold? Is there any chance of it tanking like Bitcoin did back in the day?

are you actually mentally retarded?
You don't have to buy an entire bitcoin you mongoloid

Yes the chances are very good. I bought it at 3.45 over a year ago and odds of it surpassing the size of bitcoin are looking very good. Look for a good entry point in the next few months and hold it. research and follow ethereum in the meantime. Then reevaluate your position in 1-2 years.

BTC is much more safe, but will maybe double in a year at best.
ETH could easily double, triple or even 10x its value in a year. But there is more risk to go with it.
I'd go with ETH, but watch it closely.
