I don't want to slave away my whole life for a max of 5K net.

I'm considering getting into sales engineering for the money/comissions/growth potential (and maybe partially because it looks fun). I'm definitively not the best sales guy around, but I'm a quick learner so I got that going for me. Anyone here had a similar experience?

you can likely do better than even the 5-6k net given the desirability of your skills
