What is the cut off for when /biz/nessmen should move out by?

I'm starting to feel like an extreme manchild at 22 and I'm questioning whether the money saved is worth it at this point.
>>
>>1851743
Don't worry anon

You'll still be a manchild even if you move out
>>
>>1851754
Why would I be one even then?
>>
>>1851756
Because we all want to be manchildren.
Kids are pretty happy.

Don't let social pressure make you poor.

Save your money.
>>
>>1851907
There's multiple reasons though.

The stress is affecting me significantly as well as the limited employment options in this area. Paying rent wouldn't really make me "poor" either.

The question is how much money should I save, and how much of a sacrifice to my quality of life should I make?

Really the question is, what is $ value of my enjoyment of life.
>>
>>1851912
A lot of people are in your exact situation. Most people just don't know. Mostly because we were raised by shit head boomers. This generation is so fucked. Bad times ahead
>>
>>1851743
when you can safely afford rent on what you're earning, so presumably right now.

staying at home and saving is a meme anyway, the amount you save will only ever be laugable because if you're living at home your salary will be shit anyway, because you don't have the experience or knowledge to command higher salaries. i'm sure some shitcoin memer will have a story they just made up about how they were bringing in $500k by the time they were 16, but in reality the mental development you miss out on by living at home is absolutely not worth the $10k or $20k or whatever it is in your area that you save while living at home.

>>1851907
it's not about social "pressure" you aspie retard, it's about social development. you WILL lose out later in life if you spent crucial years of your youth living with your parents when you could have been living independantly.

Dont listen to these fags

My neighbor back home started a buisness at 25 and lived with his parents until he was 30 something and now has his 300k house + vehicles paid off... desu he probably moved idk im military and moved away 4 years ago but uncle sam gives me 1500 a month for rent.

Dude has to be a millionare by now
>>
>>1851743
That's just the jews pressuring you give them half your salary in rent. Wait until you have paid off your debts before you move out.

> Dude has to be a millionare by now

And you HONESTLY think that $800/month would have somehow seriously stopped him from all that money? Wtf?

>>1852087
>half your salary in rent

I don't make minimum wage like you though. And I don't have any debt.
>>
If you take home more than $2K a month, then you should at least try finding a room for rent.

Unless you're lucky enough to be in a normie family with parents that spoil you, chances are you aren't going to save very much living at home. Your parents will start dropping all the bills on you, asking you to buy dinner every night, etc

lots of real dumb assumptions there friendo

It definitly helped him kickstart his buisness from nothing

My girlfriend and I are moving out of her parents place. Housing here cost like $200k+ and rent per month anywhere is $1k. We both are just a tier above NEETS I have some job experience, no more then 3 months in anywhere. Neither have education. We are also going to have a baby soon.

Our plan is to move out up north to a town with 160k population(Canadian here). The housing is from $10k for land and $50k for a small house/trailer. Mortgage will be $170 per month.

So worse case, if I can't find a job. The baby bonus pays for our housing bills. As for food, we only spend like $40 per week. We have perfected the art of minimalist. Any work I get will be saved up. Also the baby isn't for another 7 months. So I have time to save up.

No reason to stay at home if you have savings and can afford to live on your own.

There are some valid reasons to live at home
>caring for other family members
>aggressively paying down debt
>saving for a down payment

>>1852006
> if you're living at home your salary will be shit anyway, because you don't have the experience or knowledge to command higher salaries

"I need more money to live" is not a valid argument when asking for a raise. Any smart manager will laugh at that reason and go on to exploit you. Experience and knowledge related to your job is gained by working, not your living situation.

>you miss out on by living at home is absolutely not worth the $10k or $20k or whatever it is in your area that you save while living at home.

In some areas $20k can give you a major leg up on home ownership. A few years of sacrifice to get on the property ladder young beats the fun you can have paying the rent jew. Play it right and you can become the jew.

> Move out when you're 21
> Spend $1500 per month on life - no more
> Rent, insurance, food, fun, phone, utilities, internet, still enough to live like a fucking king
> Save $500 per month till you have 10k emergency fund
> Put that in a decent Money Market Fund for safety
> Spend the rest on paying down debt completely
> Max 401k contributions throughout
> Once you save 10k start putting that $500 in a good Vanguard investment tool every month
> Once you pay off debts put $250/mo in a new savings account labeled "Fun" - use this to save for new furniture, a fun car, vacation, ect.
> Put the rest toward your Vanguard
Not sure if that's the best plan. I'm 23 and have 10k earning 3%, 8.7k in my 401k, and reduced debt from 36k - 11k, and 14k in a Vanguard Admiral Account. Doing better than all my friends. Only make 40k a year.
