Could use some advice. Can't day trade due to work restrictions (work for a bank). Looking to start using Robinhood and the stock market has always fascinated me. Looking for some ideas for stocks that fluctuate a bit over a few days/week period but seem to stay in the same range so I can play them a bit, even though I will have to hold positions overnight. Any suggestions?

Look for spikes in volume too, that usually indicates some big firms are putting the big dollars in the stock.

Been using robinhood for at least a month and I feel like most of these stocks will rise if you hold long enough. CERU just jumped a whole dollar after being shilled here for a while. I jumped shipped after I realized I fell for the meme but if I held on I could have had a decent return. This got me thinking that most of these companies will rise eventually if they have at least something going for them.

Is it stupid to buy and hold some of these promising penny stocks and sell when they blast off? I don't do any DD or any sort of investigation because I don't know how to evaulate any company and I don't got time for that. I'm not a trader or investor just a gambler after a quick buck.
