Value investing is genius compared to the irresponsible speculating conducted on this board.

I think you're unlikely to have enough assets that your personal hand involved in it is likely worth the time invested... but it's one of the least stupid things to do with your time and money.

Less stupid would be buying an index fund.

sure their business will keep running, but stock prices are going to go down, dividends will be cut and in the end that the only thing that you should care about.
