If i own 100,000 shares of a company at $0.06 a share, and the company goes bankrupt, and a few months later the company emerges from bankrupcty and RELISTS on the NYSE @ $20 a share - WHAT has happened to my investment??? Do i still own 100,000 shares?

it depends on the terms of the BK. 99% of the time, shareholders are wiped out.

when it delists, it might still exist on OTC, but the value will drop to nearly nothing. it will be very unlikely to relist again, especially to NYSE. dont be a bagholder. take your losses

For example, LINEQ (god help you if you ever bought this) has been bankrupt like 3 times since last year
It emerges from bankruptcy, delists, because new LINE, and original shareholders get nothing. Meanwhile, if you held LLNC (Lin Co or something, I forget) then you actually got some cut of the deal, but I forget how much
It's really on a security to security basis.
Sometimes they exit Ch11 and reform a new security, and that new security can even have the same symbol, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you get any of the new shares
Other times, there is some sort of exchange where you get some shares in exchange for your old shares, but it's rarely 1:1
