Everything will start becoming more decentralized. The age of monolithic mega corporations will become a thing of the past as the population is presently rejecting this type of centralized authority. We can see this throughout the globe already: Brexit, Trump's election, bitcoin, uber, etc. The paradigm shift has already happened in the population's mind and the pendulum is swinging away from globalism towards decentralization. The concept of an open source platform is quite the opposite of how mega corporations and world governments work. They stomp out competition and better ideas to maintain a status quo. They do not embrace this type of organic growth of ideas. Whereas people are waking up to the understanding of the power and potential of this type of platform of building on each other's good ideas and they are taking this structure to the market.
