I like him. His online persona is kinda shit, but I have a feeling it's just how he puts on a show for his online cult of kindergartners. When he's talking to other intelligent people, he seems like a good guy. He seems genuinely passionate about his work, and he lives way below his means. I really respect those things. It's cool to watch how engaged he gets when he gets the chance to talk about diseases.

Unfortunately, most of the videos that get put out are just him being an asshole towards stupid callers. I've heard good things about his lectures, but I'd stay away from the rest. Waste of time.
