Should be nice PT upgrades tomorrow. Disappointed with SP reaction - don't know why there's such downward pressure, perhaps option exercises tomorrow

While you are here MU otaku, mind answering quesitons:
Why is MU going up this year?
How volatile is it compared to AMD?
Will it have another 100% return by December?
>>1829504
>Why is MU going up this year
DRAM and NAND undersupply. Prices have risen at a record rate. Pricing has leveled out but no one expects significant price drops for the next 2-3Q.
Mfgr's have reduced capex for DRAM and don't plan any major production increases. Most of the NAND industry is still transitioning to 3D NAND which hurts supply. MU has already transitioned to 3D NAND, which has proven to be the most dense and will ultimately be the cheapest to produce.
>How volatile is it compared to AMD
MU is volatile - the memory industry is volatile. My best comparison is AMD is overvalued whereas MU is undervalued.
>Will it have another 100% return by December
No, probably not barring someone blowing up Samsung fabs or a major announcement for new tech. I'm confident we'll see $30+ by the end of the year and have a significant chance of $35+
SP finally working it's way up. I have a bunch of calls expiring next week, this is working out nicely

thanks for the info
Honestly. Am new investor learning about stocks. I think Im going to look into Bank and Security Defense Stocks
Massive PT increases coming in, still barely any SP movement... wtf. Big institutions keeping price down for option expiration tomorrow?
