Well they receive billions in foreign aid by the EU aka every other EU country is paying for their unemployed. Also those numbers don't reflect the truth. In most of those countries unemployment is closer to 50% for younger people. Gives you a glimpse into the future. By all accounts the fourth industrial revolution is gonna mean 50 to 80% of all people will be unemployed.

And they are slowly starting to recover, the numbers were worse two years ago.

Also I'm doubtful about some of the numbers for the other countries. Germany for example is definitely not 3.8, they only count short term unemployment, if you're unemployed for a long time you are left out of the equation since you don't get the unemployment benefits (Arbeitslosengeld) anymore but Hartz4.
And Germany is not the only country with a system like that, it's a nice way to make unemployment look low even if it isn't

To be fair, the UK is lying about ours, propping up the statistics with things like 0-hour contracts, work experience/apprenticeships, and probably volunteer work too knowing our slimy government.

Additionally a bunch of people are employed short term only and most of them won't find work when the euro gets stronger and lots of jobless people are sent to 'vocational trainings' which are infact just a waste of time but take those people out of the statistic.
There are a bunch of measurements to make the statistic sound way better than it really is in germany and the 5,5 million migrants aren't part of the statistic either

I didn't say it was caused by the 4th industrial revolution, I just put the future numbers out there because all in all it doesn't matter the least bit. They'll all be unemployed sooner or later if their job can be replaced by something more efficient and most of them can. Also it's not caused by "government stupidity" you uneducated commie piece of shit. You don't need the government to find/create yourself a job or to protect it. If you do, it means your job was irrelevant & replaceable in the first place, which brings you back to my first point.

This guy has a good point btw. In Belgium they decided to kick about 50% of people out of unemployment and give them social benefits, who do not count towards unemployment rates.

They would lose purchasing power, but gain on employment, possibly better off overall
