By that point, my current project will be built out, will be building my next project (currently getting it started).

As far as career goes

>right now doing asset management at a commercial real estate investment portfolio

All of my current options would have vested, hopefully the company will have sold or IPO'd and I'd have made some money doing that. A lot of my research-level projects would be mature, my production-ready projects would be old news (but hopefully still around at the "that's just always been there" infrastructure layer).

Career-wise I'd have leveraged my consistent R&D breakthroughs and understanding of the systems I've developed into a high-salary high-perk position.

Even if none of that pans out, if I can remain employed at my current salary (plus inflation) I would be financially independent. If I was just bumming around at that point I'd stop working and work on some new business plans, but I think this would happen much sooner than 10 years if my current company doesn't pan out.

Longer term I'd like to disappear and build/deploy an unstoppable worldwide distributed dark market with perfect privacy and minimal-trust escrow, and permanently increase the supply of acid in the world so much that the direction of society is fundamentally altered.

Currently Air Force enlisted (submitting an officer package in a few months, have a guy in my shop who is an Lt. now who did the same thing.) Will see where the officer life takes me, then likely get out and work for Homeland Security or any other similar government institution.
