Why don't we design our own crypto?
Has this been done before? I'm not talking about doge or pepe shit. I'm talking right now, here - all of /biz/ gets together and creates a completely new coin.
Two routes can be taken: we go balls walls and just throw random specifications at the code and see what happens, or come to community consensus on factors such as block size, total amount of coins, reward structure, etc.
We have the will, the knowledge, the contacts (I hope there are familiars from the btc/alt scene lurking), so why sit idly trading other people's clones?
I've already built a template from source, called CopyPasta (ticker: CTRLV)
Everything including the name/ticker is up for modification or complete overhaul, just curious if there'd be any interest. There'd obviously be a community giveaway before launch, so that everyone can dump their coins and kill the entire project the day it hits an exchange /s
I could probably get a few listings on exchanges, but some extra networking would be required to really profit. Also curious about implementing a tipping system now that changetip is dead, somehow link user posts to a temporary address in a CopyPasta database where users can claim rewards from other users...but that's for another time.
Cheers
How many times are you bitslaves going to run the same play?
I guess you have eternity....

What the fuck are you on about? Dogecoin was created by a retard just like you and it didn't work. There is no doubt in my mind that your idea is in no way better. Please stop.

I made a grand after a few days creating a wallet wtih some never-implemented-before features. This time, I'm curious if others want to make an even better application. Did I ask for your shekels? No.
btw Dogecoin #20 on coinmarketcap. was it created by a retard? sure. but it worked :)
This was merely a chance to hop on a new project.
Your loss!

You are offering society nothing but collectivist pump and dump at the expense of others.
Actually, it will be their loss and your gain.
Finance is riddled with your selfish mindset.
