Why the fuck do people keep coming on here and talking about wageslave jobs?
This is /biz/. For business owners, entrepreneurs, and the financial and economic topics that surround it.
No one cares about your £12 an hour cuck job or how you hope you'll get promoted into another position that still makes you some boss's bitch.
Where do they keep coming from?

I made $228K last year, working as a business intelligence analyst.
/biz/ is for everyone, not just unemployed NEET's living delusions of grandeur under a bridge in east London.

I fully agree, this board is for owners, stock holders and investors. Not for filthy wagecucks, they should have their own board asking "which major they should choose at school" lol
welcome to late stage capitalism

I assume you meant late state socialism. If you have not noticed western world is broke due to socialism and exponentially growing borrowing to pay for that socialism
personal finance posts are fine??

What's the matter OP? Do you not get enough (You)'s on /r9k/?
I'm trying to get a contractor license then see what a contractor actually does it seems easy

How did you get into that? I'm a pretty good high school student but don't have great connections. I'd also like to own my own business.

Man lives off the sweat of his brow, he doesn't complain about shit.If he is unsatisfied with his condition he should do something about it.

It's a long story, and not that interesting, but the main points are:
1. I did well in school and got an MS in a quantitative field, learning enough stats along the way to get by.
2. I spent a couple years at a large consulting firm as a data scientist
3. Switched jobs, and landed in a role where I have a lot of influence on the strategic direction of a midsize company (revenue in the 100's of millions per year)
4. We had a great year.

I believe this. Businesses, especially small to mid-sized are waking up to how much data can save money in the long run, even in the short term in some cases. Data is where it's at.

>£12 an hour cuck job
>tfw when wages after taxes, NI, pension and rent are half the minimum wage
I'd be over the moon for £12 an hour
>>1825846
No, I'm pretty sure anon meant capitalism. Rentierism is rampant and it's hard to start a business in many sectors as result.

At least you admit the stock cucks arent investors...
I'm working my ass off to quit being a wagecuck. Believe me i know what a joke it is. But its all ive ever known since i was a kid.
I know, right? Some of us are about to quit our jobs like me, though... nathanhatchservices.mytranont.com http://ltl.is/Up4gu
