how to get started on stocks though?
Like really, I dont know anything about stocks, i feel like that would be more like gambling than anything for me at this point in time

Download either Etrade or robinhood. I would recommend to put it in PLX, they have lots of capital, upcoming projects and will rise 60% or more in March.

Like most anons I do recommend Robinhood but unlike them I don't recommend penny stocks or extremely risky ventures like currency trades.
I do recommend looking at closed fund corporate bond stocks, or, monthly dividend stocks that are between 4-10% yield. Any higher and the risk gets a bit too dangerous and any lower you may as well pick up blue chips.
The reason for the closed funds or monthly dividend stocks is they are reliable and average between 8-50 dollars for the most of them per share which you can collect and keep long term.
That is a delicious-looking sandwich, m80.
