I have absolutely no work experience. The only things going for me are my academic achievements which are all very strong. The dilemma is - I likely have a poor chance at getting grad work since its all about experience, experience, experience.
Any /biz/ bros lied about shit on their resume? Should I? Tips?
Only one way to find out bro.
It works here in Brazil.
I wouldn't lie about your education level or related worked experience.
But you can lie about small side jobs.

That's what I meant. Something small and kind of insignificant, but enough to tick the box for experience and show that I can work for someone.

Exactly.

I did that as well.
>>1816266
Did it work?

No one asked. But if they do ask the worst that can happen is that you won't get your job.
But you should only do it for your first job. Because you can get fired for it if they find out later.

No, don't lie. You should call the businesses, introduce yourself shortly. tell them about your skills (e.g. during my studies i programmed a lot of c++, if the open positions on their website tell you they're searching for c++ programmers. even if you won't fit for that position they maybe are interested in talking to you face to face) and ask whether there is a possibility to work for them/ in this field. blablabla. i know it's maybe not that professional (better don't call microsoft with that "strategy"), but it worked 2/2 for me. both jobs were specialized businesses with round about 60 employees. no one thinks a fresh man will have space level skills. and of course they describe ALL the skills a future employee might have.
