I am currently in liquidity after a sale of GDXJ and currently I do not see many alternatives to invest,
I am analyzing AMD with its new launch of Ryzen and what this would imply for the core accounts of the company.
However I have seen that AMD has grown a lot lately its actions. Do you think it's a good idea to invest now?
Or is it too late?

Ryzen is still very new, Vega is on the horizon. Im waiting until amd sales numbers are out.

The profits they'll make of the small amount of Ryzen sales over the next two quarters will not be enough to justify the current share price - especially when Intel chops their prices and releases their next round of CPUs this summer.

They're releasing what appears to be a good product but priced cheap (I expect tight margins). NVDA about to drop the 1080TI and the following price cut to the 1080/1070/1060 will decimate AMD current lineup (which is already unprofitable). When AMD drops Vega, NVDA will have a better product to release (most AMD fanboys like to 'analyze' by freezing INTC and NVDA in place while AMD releases new products).
The delusion is strong with AMD investors so the stock could pop to $20+ in a month for all I know. I'm considering purchasing some cheap OTM call and put options next week to see if I can get lucky on a big move. I just can't stomach buying the underlying.

It could be a big win but, as I said, I just don't like it. The fundamentals are not there, even with a successful product launch IMO.
Check out MU - I think it'll be over $25 (high probability of $26-28 IMO) easily after earnings in a month or in 1-2 weeks if their CFO upgrades guidance (he did last q) at one of his two upcoming events. I own a lot of shares of MU as well as some March 10, April 21, and July 21 calls.

Weak troll. If not, you're an idiot. Ryzen processors selling for 2x their MSRP on Ebay is a bad sign for AMD as it means their production is not up to the task (demand will not be high - OEMs will take a while to incorporate their products signficantly, businesses will take a while to start adpoting products). No one (except the deluded fanboy) buys AMD CPUs anywhere near the price of their Intel counterpart
