> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

For my cerc niggas set your stop loss to .77 waiting on a volume bounce or a news drop. Strategy sell between .87 and .92 on a volume bounce or ride the wave up if the news drops will increase my position to avg up if news drops. Wouldnt recommend meme yoloing it its a patience play and better memes might take flight in the meantime.

I have 13k in my account and about 3.5k in AMD. I would be making a lot more if it were all in AMD, but I think it's generally a bad idea to put all of your money in one stock.

I bought in at about 13.5, and it promptly dipped to 12.8. I don't have a lot of experience at this, but I think if I had been an absolute beginner I might have been tempted sell at that point, for fear of losing more than I already had. Instead I averaged down significantly, which turned out to be the right move.

I think AMD is a good investment, but I recommend not doing what you are thinking about doing unless you have the confidence to ride out a dip like that.

If you have almost no knowledge, then you should step back a second and grab a book that will give you a quick perspective of how global economics truly works. I suggest reading Economics: The User's Guide by Ha-Joon Chang.

Then read a coporate finance book. This will help teach you how to analyze securities using excel.

Read any well-rated text book on risk management from Amazon.

Start reading books like "Market Wizards" and the blogs of finance professors (there's plenty of these ex. Damodaran.)

Don't throw all your eggs into one basket. I wouldn't make risky trades at first, but I would attempt to analyze some blue-chips and mid-caps on their earnings and invest in those based on a longer time-frame.

Do not day-trade, because you're going to lose your money.

They're YOLOing meme stocks, do you expect any different? There is like a 90% chance of losing everything and a 10% chance to make huge profits. On the other hand, there are way better blue chip stocks to invest in that give way better returns than Vanguard and very little risk as well. You're comparing people who play roulette to people who stash away money in a savings account. The best game is the people who play poker & play the long steady grind. You're the savings account guy. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but you're honestly better off putting your money in a 401k

>>

generally it would be a good short, which means you won't find the shares to borrow for it. at the same time they can be targets for manipulation. IDXG and CUR both had reverse splits several weeks ago, then unexpectedly squeezed everyone out, destroyed all people who were short before finally calming down

So instead of finding a good stock or ETF, of which there are literally thousands, you will cling to bad one in the hopes that some glimmer of positive news will give it a $.10 bump. Thus, you can exit having lost 45% of your portfolio instead of 50% of your portfolio.

Its a coordinated attack. Kerrisdale "leaked" the 100million raised to short a mystery company back in april/may of last year. The put options of 2.26 were placed back in Jan. The options were set to expire on the 16 or 26th of feb(I dont remember which). Short and distort campaign goes public right before its set to expire.

You must be new here. I have yet to see any technicals or anything out of you. All pure speculation. Very short sighted.
>>
>>1813458
The drop already happened the day the Kerrisdale report was published. This drop was secondary and a reaction to lack of faith in the company, not the smear campaign. It was supposed to rise after their rebuttal that was posted Friday and when Scott Pruitt got confirmed as head of EPA, yet it dropped even further. You are seriously behind on your news and betting on weeks old information. Good luck on NAK, might as well dump everything you have on it at this point. I mean it's a sure thing, right?

>>
>>1813469
Pruitt was always baked in, the KD report dropped at 9:01Am on the 14th, the stock dropped soon after. Looks to be the cause in combination with said options. I'm glad you're willing to admit it was a smear campaign, I agree it was a baseless hit piece.

I have a day job, I can afford to ride the waves like some around here. My position is small compared to some but the underlying principles are the same.

Let me know when your puts go through.
>>
>>1813488
>admits pruitt was priced in

I am going to explain why Nak is nothing -

Nak hides behind a major project known as pebble, or known to residents of alaska like myself, the pebble mine. When this project came to Alaska halfway through 2003 or whatever it was, news broke that there were billions of dollars of copper in the ground, in addition to gold and silver. This caused big money to be thrown around. However, as the mine was being developed residents realized the disastrous effects it would have on the major fishing areas nearby. Campaigns were run for years to prevent the development of the mine and in 2013 the project was abandoned.

>NAK is fun for some weekly gains, but not gonna blow up in the next while

NAK will see a pop in pre market with a drop on open. This is always expected, weak hands cant hold long. Lots of short sighted people on this board. This gold will be mined.

Yeah and now the corrupt EPA that was blocking it all is going bye bye.

Pre Market looking good, should see a small dip after open with slow and steady gains over the next few weeks. Look for a new partner soon after the veto is repealed

I did the thing finally.

Not robinhood related but fuck it there's no other active threads here.

Is 1500$ dollars enough to start an account with the intent of trying options?
>>
I hope you boys had the big brass balls it took to buy into NAK. If not, it's ok, don't chase.

Only the brave get rich ;)
>>
>>1814086
So regarding chasing, the right thing to do would be to buy the dip?
>>
>>1814090
Yeah I'd look for a morning sell-off followed buy a steady climb
>>
>>1814092
so buy at the support of the morning dip? any stocks you reccomend watching for this action this morning?
>>
>>1814094
Set a limit order, don't attempt to just buy at a dip

>>1814077

Usually my best trades are at opening bell or last minute, easier to see the future 5 minutes ahead vs. a few hours. I'll still let you guys know.
