Where and how to find oil on land?

Unless we're talking about surface oil sands (which are a bitch to extract) you can't tell. Subterranean deposits are invisible from above ground. These days exploration is done with satellites, seismic patterns, exploratory drilling - it's not exactly cheap.

Also beware, regardless of who owns the land, natural resources below ground usually belong to the government who liscense mining to companies.

Grew up drilling and pulling wells.

Kansas and Oklahoma.

Litteraly no way to tell without a geologist. Dude i know has upwords of $40,000,000. Took a loan out of high school and drilled 2 wells. Both dry hole. Bankrupt off his ass when you cant throw a fucking rock without hitting a pumpjack around here.

Once i see wtf trump does about this pipeline shit and fracing in texas I'm paying $150,000 cash and praying it pays off.

I'll invest in oil but i will never take out a loan on something so volitile. Let alone seeing half the town lose their ass.
