I'm looking to refinance my student loans. Anyone here know the best lender(s) for that?
It seems like either Sofi or College Ave. Both seem very legit from my research but I got quotes from both and since then they've both been calling and emailing me every day and I'm very off put.

Here's my details, pls no bully:
>6 private loans
>$75k debt
>average apr like 11% (got 6% on first loan in 2011 then fucked for the next 4 years)
>graduated and making $110k salary
>currently paying $1300/mo on loans
>not looking to pay less just want lower interest
>credit score 712, history very short
>college ave offering 5.5 apr
>sofi offering 5.75 apr

11% is ridiculous my man. They are calling every day because that's how they make money. I would definitely refinance. As long as you make sure it's a fixed rate then I don't see how they could scam you, but I'm not expert.

I do realize that, I guess it just makes me not like them that they're so persistent.
Yeah I looked at the variable rate and it's 1% lower right now but the index they follow (LIBOR) is trending up and heading for a spike right now so I'm definitely going fixed.

I'm going to wait and see if anyone with a lot of knowledge on the topic comments here though because I suck at finance.

I found another lender, DRB - some bank in Connecticut.
They're offering me 4.9% APR, that's lower than my motorcycle payment.
This shit seems too good to be true.
